About me
I’m a philosophy graduate from the University of Peradeniya and a Temporary Lecturer in its Department of Philosophy.
My research looks at freedom, agency and resistance through an existentialist lens, and at how culture, place and belief shape Sri Lankan life. Before academia I worked on policy research and events at the Federation of Sri Lankan Local Government Authorities and on research at Muragala. I’m also co-founder of DocuLex.lk.
Outside philosophy I’ve spent years on stage, on air and on the karate mat, and five years volunteering with the Leo Club, AIESEC and student media.
